MUSKMELON

Cucumis melo, also known as melon, is a species of Cucumis that has been developed into many cultivated varieties. These are a rich source of vitamin A and vitamin C, with other nutrients at a negligible level. The flesh is either sweet or bland, with or without a musky aroma, and the rind can be smooth, ribbed (such as cantaloupe), wrinkled, or netted (such as muskmelon). They flourish well under well drained loamy soil with warm climate and cannot tolerate frost.
