Indian Institute of Horticultural Research
IIHR (Indian Institute of Horticultural Research) is one of the premium research Institutes in India. I&B has utilised the expert services of IIHR on many occasions, and have been a regular participant in the farm shows. Scientific seminars and Horticulture fairs hosted by IIHR. I&B participated actively in a project on addressing the needs of the Tomato processing Industry – driven by IIHR and the World Veg Center (WVC). Currently we are working closely with IIHR via CII- PMO, Fellowship program.
World Vegetable Center
World Vegetable Center, Headquartered at Taiwan, is a leading vegetable research Institute in the World. I&B, through APSA (Asia Pacific Seed Association) consortium. Has been part of many special research projects focussed on different traits in Tomato (Processing Tomatoes, Virus Tolerance, Insect tolerance,Heat Stress Tolerance) Peppers (Virus Screening, Heat Stress Tolerance) and Bittergourd (Virus Tolerance, Powdery Mildew Tolerance, Gynoecious).
